#DelhiBudget2024: Education & Welfare Top Priorities For Government

Delhi’s Finance Minister Atishi presented the DelhiBudget 2024 on March 4. As Delhi completes 10 years under the AAP govt, Atishi said that the focus is creating a ‘Ram Rajya’ by removing poverty through education, access to health etc.

Finance Minister Atishi from AAP projected an overall outlay of INR 76,000 crore while presenting the Delhi Budget 2024-25.

#DelhiBudget2024 will focus on education, eradicating poverty, progressive schemes for women, real estate development, Delhi metro, improvement of public sector, more metros etc.

The largest allocation proposal of DelhiBudget2024 was for the education sector with a whopping ₹16,396 crores.

Aitishi proposed ₹8,685 crore for the overall healthcare sector with Rs 6215 for development and maintenance of hospitals in NCR.
Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojna
Under this, all women above the age of 18 will get ₹1000 a month. ₹2000 crore have been allocated for the scheme
