IIT & NIT: Number of Seats
With more campuses, the number of seats in NITs is higher which is approx 20,000, while IITs have approx. 11000 seats across its campuses for B. Tech courses.
NIT & IIT Entrance Exam
Getting into NIT requires clearing the JEE Mains examination. To get into IIT, the candidate has to clear the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam.
