How to become an Income Tax Officer after Graduation?
After graduation, you should pass the SSC CGL or UPSC exam to secure a position in the Indian Revenue Service to become an Income Tax Officer in India.
SSC CGL Eligibility for Income Tax Officer
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Advantages of Finance/ Accounting background 
  • Should be between 18-30 years of age
  • Must be a citizen of India
UPSC Eligibility for Income Tax Officer
  • Quota-wise age limit - General (32), OBC (35), and SC/ST (37)
  • Must be a citizen of India
  • Must have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks
