NDA Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit for Boys & Girls

Eligible Birth Dates for NDA
The NDA candidates irrespective of their gender should have been born before July 2, 2005, and not later than July 1, 2008.
Age Limit for NDA Boys
As per the rules formulated by the exam conducting authority,  boys aspiring to appear for NDA must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age.
Age Limit for NDA Girls
The new changes made to NDA eligibility allow girls to apply for the exam. Their age limit, same as that for boys, ranges between 16.5 and 19.5.
Education Qualification for NDA
  • Army aspirants should have completed their 10+2
  • Air Force & Navy candidates must hail from PCM streams
Nationality Requirement for NDA
Applicants should be citizens of India or subjects of Nepal or Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, etc.
Physical and Medical Criteria for NDA
  • Male candidates should have a minimum height of 157.5 cm
  • The minimum height requirement for females is 152 cm
  • Applicants should have a 6/6 eye vision
Marital Eligibility in NDA
According to the regulations made to the NDA, UPSC doesn’t allow candidates to marry until they have completed their training.
