What is GATE?
GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering conducted by an IIT on a rotational basis for granting admission to MTech courses and PSU recruitment. Students can choose from 29 subjects.
IIT Conducting GATE in 2025
As per the latest update, GATE 2025 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee. Official notification for it will be released in August 2024.

Graduation in engineering or non-engineering streams is mandatory

IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 pattern along with the notification and information bulletin. However, as per the paper pattern of GATE, there will be 65 questions for 100 marks.
